I think a straight key skills are a better method for learning the timing, but
I think you have it right where you and your wife will be practice sending and
listening with each other if I understood you right.

This is an understated good idea.

I purchased an MFJ-418 and it has be the best code learning investment I could
have made.

I prefer Ultimatic myself, on principle only, but I am not sure most even know
what it is.
