The BPL brigade are not interested in the rural market and indeed cannot
actually serve it anyway, operational BPL line reach is of the order of
300m (yes I know there are some tests over longer distances, up to 1 mile
or so without repeaters but at what data rates..)
The rural answer is Fixed wireless access, this need not be ' wiFi type
solutions. Full carrier grade service is quite possible, Something that I
am considering starting a business in my area to do.
