Tom, a cleaner way to go is to get some two-row socket stock, break off the 
right length, and wire to the pins that normally are soldered into a PCB. 
You can then just plug this onto P1.  You might have to trim the pins of 
the socket a bit so that there is adequate room between the boards.  This 
solution also allows you easily to switch pin wirings for different mics.
