[Elecraft] ticking AGC on K2/100

I've noticed this too on one of my K2's, but haven't had the time to pursue 
it .... It does cause a problem copying weak signals but the louder ones 
over ride the tick and rush of noise that follows.

Must have done the same thing wrong!
