Regarding antenna wire, Fair Radio Sales lists a 315' spool of #22 AWG
stranded wire in its catalog for 13.95USD.  Its insulation is braided
cloth cover and it is quite light weight and flexible.

This is the wire I use for my 160-meter balloon-supported 1/4-wave
vertical when I go to a nearby salt lake bed during 160m contest
weekends.  I'm still on the first 132-foot piece I cut off of the spool
and it has lasted through six contest weekends running up to 1kw  into
it, spooling it out, then back in for each contest.
