I'm happy to report everything AOK thru Alignment & Test Part 1.

I set the AGC voltage at R1  @ 3.8v as per the manual. Is this a good
starting point, or do you guys use other settings that work better?

The only problem I encountered was the bottom panel seems to bow down a
bit due to the pressure of the Tilt Stand. What is the recommended fix
for this?

So far I am very impressed with the kit and the documentation is simply
outstanding. It was very rewarding to finally see a flicker of life on
the LCD and hear a bit of audio. I'm hooked guys !

OK back to the garage, er, I mean electronics lab. This next stage looks
like a long one!
