D2 and D3 are the LEDs on the diffuser.  They are installed such that 
the diffuser can be installed either way and their polarities are 
correct.  That's why + is on the bottom hole on one end and on the top 
hole on the other end.  As long as you install it on the correct side of 
the board (hi), the polarities are guaranteed to be correct.
