Hi again

I've had a look at the Maplin site and I think that the station I bought is listed as:

M10271 Temperature Controlled Soldering Station and is listed at 49.99 UKP.

When I got it in Aberdeen it was a "Manager's Special".

There is another station listed which is cheaper:

M35016 Solder Station for 29.99 UKP but I'm not sure how good it is.
