Hi Bill
I've seen the Maplin station and actually bought one for less than 10
quid. Unfortunately it's only 'temperature controlled' in that it has
a rheostat to alter the temperature rather than being fully
controlled. I'd prefer a station which allows control via a knob
rather than by changing tips as per Weller but I'd like to pay as
little as possible :-)
I hope mine doesn't take 6 months, it's the only txcvr I'll have and
I'm not sure if I can wait 6 months to get on the air :-)
