If you have a Digital Volt Meter, I would start looking at the power coming into the K2 and follow the circuit. You will find either a component that is broke or a bad solder joint. From what you describe, I would make sure that you have 13.8 volts going where it should. Also, you might have a bad voltage regulator somewhere. That means you have to trace it down to where you have voltage and where you don't. Then look at the component and the solder joint.

Hi out there. I'm working on #3434 and have stalled out on alignment and test , part 1 (page 41). When I power up nothing happens. I have been through the troubleshooting for this problem to no avail. The only additional info I can give is that as power is switched on I can here a very faint and short click, then nothing. I know I will need to go over every thing once again, maybe twice, three times, but are there any likely suspects that can be rounded up first?
Thanks in advance,
Greg
