[Elecraft] Noise Blanker K2

Howdy Folks,

I'm glad someone had the moxie to bring this up. For a long time now, I
have played with my noise blanker in old number 3413 and never could tell if
anything ever happened. Maybe the MPU switched something around, but I
never was able to tell what changes it made on noise.

So, how does one know if ones noise blanker works? Is there a tape or a
wave file of lightening crashes with and without the noise blanker?

That's something I appreciate about the DSP filters. I may not understand
10 % of all the capability it has and how to get the best out of my radio,
but I sure can tell it's doing something! Where did the woodpecker go? At
least we had a way to see if the noise blanker worked? Bring back the cold
war! It would fix the economy, too!

Seriously, any comments on what to expect from the noise blanker?

Bill
