[Elecraft] Mail SPAM Rejection Solved

This morning I started getting mail sent to the reflector bounced by the
QTH.NET SPAM filters, like several others have reported recently.=20

Having too much time on my hands I started tinkering.=20

I found that I could send messages to the reflector as long as I wasn't
replying to the particular one that bounced.=20

I found that the message causing the problem bounced even if I copied it =
as
plain ASCII text into a NEW message created and addressed by me, so it
wasn't a message "header" issue. Other messages with identical headers
posted just fine.=20

I noticed that the QTH filters look at the CONTENT as well as other =
data. In
the message I was trying to post (it's on the reflector with the subject =
KX1
Audio Level) was only one slightly unusual word: "e-a-r-b-u-d" (without =
the
hyphens).=20

Apparently that word is caught by the QTH SPAM filters. Adding hyphens
confuses the filter and it slips through.=20

So ladies and gents, if you messages seems to be bouncing, try editing =
them
and removing all of those salacious, offensive "blue" words like
e-a-r-b-u-d-s...
