Thanks to all on the list for their suggestions!  It turned out that I had 
just not re-assembled the boards (AF/DSP) and they were not fully seated when 
I did the last test.  After a re-assembly all works as advertised (thanks 
Kent, VE4KEH) 

This list and the folks that respond on it are an excellent example of the 
best kind of customer support I have ever seen.  When Elecraft did this as 
part of their support program they really had a winner.  I have even used 
this as an example to our marketing group as a way to vastly improve our 
support capabilities.
