[Elecraft] KX1 Power Out SR# 234

Built the KX1 two weekends ago & have had a blast with it. Hears
everything the K1 does & very close to the Ten Tec Argonaut V. Argo V
only beat it at a very very weak station on 20 meters.  Too weak to
make a QSO on the Argo 5, & station was just barely heard on the KX1.
Not bad for a rig that you can run off of AA batteries & carry in your
pocket!

I have installed ATU, 30M, & paddle.

Using a Bird 43 watt meter here is what I measured.

13.7 volts
40 M barely under 4.5 watts
30 M barely under 4.5 watts
20 M little over 3.5 watts

9.4 volts internal Energizer Lithium
40 M 2 watts
30 M 2 watts
20 M little under 2 watts

12.2 volts
40 M barely under 4 watts
30 M barely under 4 watts
20 M barely over 3 watts

Using a Welz RP-120 QRP watt meter, 20 M was showing 1/2 watt less, 30
& 40 meters was showing 1 watt less than the Bird.  I would make sure
the meter I was using was an accurate one first before I started
working on increasing the power.
