[Elecraft] K2 Calibration problems

Michael,

The 4 mHz oscillator setting will not modify a change between the transmit
and receive (displayed) frequencies. It will only affect the accuracy of
the displayed frequency.

Run CAL PLL and then determine if you still have a difference - I am
ignoring operator 'problems' like forgetting to turn RIT off.

Also, doing a good alignment of the BFO/Filter passband relationships may be
required to get things 'right on'. A visual display of the passband is very
helpful, and Spectrogram is recommended. If you would like additional
information on setting the filter/BFO relationships, you can take a look at
my webpage article (www.qsl.net/w3fpr) on Dial Calibration for the K2. The
CAL PLL information is in 'Step 3'.

Dear all,
today I tried to optimize my K2 ('3607) by recalibrating. All went well but
the following problem occured: on the lower bands ist the TX frequency 400
HZ lower than on the display, on the higher bands the frequency is exactly
with the same difference higher. I did the 4 MHz Callibration as described
on page 57 for several times, but no change.
Where is the problem? what 's wrong?
