[Elecraft] K2 --LCD install--front panel board

Hi, All!

Just installing the LCD in the front panel board and have a question or =
two.

First, here's what I have:

Now, it says the LED includes a diffuser and two small LEDs.  Where are =
the LEDs?

The addendum states: Don't peel off  the thick plastic material on =
either side of the LED. I only find it on the back side of the LED but =
find it on both sides of the diffuser.  Peel it off both sides of the =
diffuser only, yes?

I only have two stick-on spacers and the diagram shows four (4) ??  If I =
had four, these would be applied to the board first, then the LCD would =
butt against these, then the diffuser would be installed with direct =
contact to the LCD, yes?

I haven't even got to wind any torrids yet and I'm confused....sigh...

Could someone please give me a general outline of this LCD =
install....and where are these little LCDs the book talks about?  Are =
they intergal to the big LCD now?

Sorry for being such an idiot....just wait 'till I get to the RF board! =
