It is no problem to add them later. The tuner plugs in, replacing a wire
jumper in the socket. 


The 30 meter kit connects on top of the board with some short wires. You
have to remove the main board from the top case, which takes all of three
screws.

Am considering buying the KX1. My question is how difficult will it

to add the 30m option and the ATU at a later time. May have to buy the
