[Elecraft] Tx problems

I cannot get more than 8 watts on all bands excep 20m where I can only get
5W using a reliable power meter.... current drawn is in excess of 3 amps as
well!

Have checked the circuit with the exception of the output transformer and I
have spoken to the previous owner ( bought the kit off him as he was finding
it too much for him... makes it far more difficult!) and his sure it is OK.

Just checked the output of the passband filters which shows that the output
on 20m is 3dB down (TF2002B sig gen and HP8558B specci) on the other bands.
apparent component errors and the two trimmers seem to be about half meshed.

Any ideas anyone... being new on list means I have not read previous mail
