Regarding the question about using an AH4 with the K2.  If is very easy.  There are four wires coming from the AH4.  They are for power, starting the tuning, and a signal when the AH4 is tuned.  All you would do is feed a couple of watts to the AH4 and start the tuning process.  I have a schematic for making a circuit to accomplish this.  Let me know if you need it.
