The belt pack (fanny pack) that I use with the KX1 is from Eagle Creek. Here's
the link, with photo:

It's about $20. Follow the product page backwards to ordering info.

I've never seen the KX1's power-on slide switch get turned on accidentally using
this pack. That's over about a dozen trips, including hikes and plane flights.
But if you leave it unattended or put it into a larger bag or pack, you'll need
to unplug the internal battery or use a Pelican case.

The pack weighs just 5 oz. and has versatile pockets with room for every
accessory I take with me:

   paddle
   earbuds
   antenna wire, (2) 24' lengths and (2) 16' lengths
   BNC-to-banana adapter
   (2) 5/8" hex machine stainless steel nuts (weights)
   log, pencils, etc.
misc. (in small bag): twist-ties, push pins, alligator clips (2 of each)
   ground cloth (see below)

There's room left over for a snack, a small water bottle, mosquito repellent,
and sunscreen as needed. The liquids go into leak-proof Nalgene bottles,
available from camping stores (spray or squeeze the liquids from their original
containers into small bottles). Total station weight is about 24 oz. not
counting the liquids or snack food. I take a larger water bottle if I'm going on
more than a couple-hour day hike.

I carry a 2 ft. by 2 ft. piece of lightweight ground cloth in case I have to sit
on wet ground or snow when operating. I cut this from a polyethylene ground
cloth. ("Floor Saver," made by Eureka and also available at camping stores. It's
intended for use with tents. It's thin, lightweight, and waterproof.)

When I get to an operating site, I don't even take the pack off if I'm planning
to operate for a short period while standing. I pull it around to the front,
take out the wire and toss it in a tree, connect the BNC-to-banana adapter and
earbuds to the KX1, and I'm on the air.
