REI sells a number of bags that are light-weight and waterproof.
Check out # 697944.
And Campmor has some bags from Coghlans that are similar-#86667.
And has the same bags as REI, #75202 and #75203.
These bags are thicker and more rugged then your standard ziplog bag,
which I find get leaky very quickly.

I think one of those bags and a foam insert like the one on the ARS
site would be very light and pretty protective.

   They sell camera bags for underwater use and this should be
   sufficient if you want something purpose built (more meant to be
   water tight).
