Don't have a KX1 (yet) but I have been thinking about some ideas for 
cool accessories ...

How about a leg-strap mount?
Rather than just mounting a key on your leg you could mount the whole 
rig.
This would be awesome for mobile operations or operating from a chair 
or even perhaps
sitting on the ground under a tree. On a similar note, how about a 
forearm mount for operating
pedestrian mobile (maybe just a couple of velcro straps??) sort of like 
those FM Radios that
mount on your upper arm for workouts only it would attach below the the 
elbow.

A padded hard-case to protect it from shock and the elements would also 
be great.
This would also keep it from being scratched or mashed in a crowded 
pack in transit.

My digital multimeter has a sort of rubber grommet-thingie that 
protects the corners
from impact .. this sort of thing might also be useful for the KX1 out 
in the field to protect it
from impacts. Maybe this could also double as the means of attaching 
the leg and arm straps
to the Rig?

Anyone have any other ideas??
