Yes. The sidetone is injected in a different way in the KX1, and it's nearely
inaudible if the receiver isn't muted. So pitch matching has to be approximated
by listening to the sidetone, then the on-air signal. You can go into SPEED set
mode or use STL or STP to listen to the sidetone.
