[Elecraft] Advice on repairing K2

I had this happen to me on 20 meters.. I could not figure out what happened, I had low power output and poor receive on 20 meters. I checked here and I was told to run the alignment for the receiver and transmitter. I quickly discovered that the capacitors were set back to their neutral position. I ran the alignment and the receiver worked great afterwards. I was also told that it might be a good idea to turn the capacitors in that section in case they hit a "bad" or "dirty" spot. Somebody can probably explain this better, but thats probably where the problem might be. I would also check for any open solder joints or cold solder joints... but check the 80 meter section / alignment first! Good luck,
