The rough note on CW problem was solved by moving the supply about 18 inches
away.  My point, which I guess wasn't very clear, was that the separation
required to eliminate the power supply problem on SSB was quite different
from that on CW and that one shouldn't assume that a pure CW note on receive
and transmit means a clean signal on SSB.  I found that the magnetic field
from the RS-35M was quite a bit stronger than that from my RS-20M and
required more separation.  There's no real reason for wide separation using
a switching supply and I can operate the K2 right next to my Alinco DM-330MV
supply with no ill effects at all.
