FW: [Elecraft] K2 voltage drop across D10 and F1

Michael, you are assuming he's talking about drop on the diode. Most likely,
it's drop on the "system". P/S, wire, jack, battery (if used) internal
resistance.

Key down, the entire system drops far more than just within the diode. On my
K2, with the P/S feeding the Elecraft plug through 20 Ga, I see .7 delta V
key down. Using a 12v SLA and 16 Ga. (don't ask how I got 16 Ga in that
plug, even I don't believe it myself!) I see .6 delta V.

These are the display changes on the K2 front panel. I've not measured
<where> the drop come in, because it doesn't even matter.
