[Elecraft] Keyer autoset

Over the last couple of months my K2/100 has developed a mind of its own.  After 
about 45-50 minutes of back and forth the keyer decides it is time to slow me down.  
When I return to sending I find it has slowed itself down by 3-5 wpm.  I have started 
keeping records and find it is normally around this time and it also is around 63-65 
degrees Fahrenheit in the my radio room (we heat with wood and I like it a bit cooler).  
I've been quoted RFI or a scratchy pot as the culprit but am unsure if this is the cause.  
Why hasn't RFI bit me in the months previous to these last two?  I've changed nothing 
in the routing of cables or in the various hookups.  I think it is more related to 
temperature.  Does anyone have this same problem?   Or does anyone have further 
insight into what this problems solution may be?
