[Elecraft] Question re: 1st Test and Alignment Phase

First Test and Alignment Phase:

When I do the resistance checks, I get infinite resistance on D2 or D3
cathodes and no change with switching s1 on or off.  The diodes work =
(proper
resistance in one direction only).  The resistance chart simply says =
">1K"
or ">10K".  Infinite resistance (open circuit) is certainly greater than =
1K
or 10K but I figure I have a problem.  I can't find any cold joints, =
solder
bridges, or steps I left out.  Any ideas where to start?  I need to =
decide
whether to proceed with the 12V test and alignment phase.

PS: I get infinite on U1 Pins 1,3,4,and 20 as well and everything else
checks out properly.
