Hello --- 

Need some Help and guidance on K2 Serial No.3479

This unit is completed up to the Alignment and Test Part II.
There are two questions that I have.

1)  For the PLL Reference Oscillator Range test I have 13.15 and the range
listed in the manual is 9.8 to 13 kHz.  Is this .15 that I am out of the
range a problem?

2)  I am not getting the votage reading on Inductor L30 under the VCO
alignment phase of the manual.  This inductor is now "bottomed out" and
reads only 5.5 V.   T5 has the right number of windings on both the primary
and secondary sections (16 red and 4 green) with the inductor stamped 1005
on the can as per the assembly directions.  The last thing mentioned to
check is C 72.  Installed in this location is small blue one stamped 271J.
I believe all of these referenced checks are correct and they have been
checked, rechecked and double checked......Is there anything else someone
can suggest to check or is this voltage not that critical?

I am not sure it is a good to bottom out the slug in the can like this and
then not get the 6 volts either - everything up to now has been so perfect
that this is just plain annoying!
