[Elecraft] How long to ship to UK?

On 19 May 2003 I wrote to the list:

and received about 20 responses both direct and via the list.  My
thanks to all who responded and apologies if I failed to reply to
everyone.  All the responses were much appreciated.  Just in case
anyone else is wondering where their order is, here's a summary...

The general consensus was that the K1 should have arrived within 3
weeks but one or two suggested 4 to 6 weeks as a maximum.

Anyway, I waited a further week and then emailed Lisa at Elecraft who
replied very promptly and apologetically, saying that she had no
record of my order :-(  It seems that something went wrong between
cartserver.com (who process credit card orders made on the Web) and
Elecraft themselves: although I received the automatic acknowledgement
from the cartserver system, my order was lost somewhere between
cartserver and Elecraft.

The message here seems to be: don't wait too long before chasing up a
delayed order.  Lisa at Elecraft says that shipping times to the UK
vary but are around 10 days now when sent via USPS.

I'm sure the K1 will be worth the wait!
