[Elecraft] TT 701 mic on K2

Folks,

Wanting to put a TenTec 701 mic on a K2, anyone have an idea whether or 
not a TT 701 hand mic needs a resistor between the +5V supply and the mic 
AF audio out as does an Icom HM-12 ? 

I guess best first guess is to use 10k in line resistor and then see how 
well it works.
