[Elecraft] K2 very susceptible to motor noise/magnetic field?

Hi Dale,

It is the magnetic field from the fan motor interfering with the BFO and PLL
toroids in the K2. Move it further from the radio and all should be OK. This
is the same issue as putting linear power supplies, with their magnetic field
generating transformers, too close to the K2.

I have the same problem when Paul, our Elecraft purchasing agent, turns on his
desk fan, which is less than 24 inches and one partition divider away from my
computer monitor. The monitor goes all wavy. The first time this happened I
thought my vision was going bad! ;^)
