[Elecraft] Electronics & radio questions: Don't be shy--go ahead and ask!

Relatively new hams and less-experienced kit builders often have one thing in
common: burning questions that they may be hesitant to ask. But if there was
ever a place where you could ask them, this is it. The folks are pretty helpful
here in the Elecraft zone.

As the guy who does most of Elecraft's tech writing, I know that the manuals
leave some fundamental questions unanswered. To keep the number of pages
reasonable, we make assumptions about levels of knowledge. But this always
leaves someone behind. Some builders are experienced professionals who know just
about everything, but others may be so new to the hobby that all this tech-speak
and ham lingo doesn't register.

So we fully expect questions. Go ahead and ask, no matter how basic!

Questions about ham bands, color codes, which side of a PC board is which, or
how radio waves propagate are all welcome. Eric, Gary and I will often answer
questions ourselves, but there are so many knowledgeable people hanging out here
that someone typically beats us to it. If you don't get an answer the first
time, try using a zippier subject line and post it again.

Let's all try to be good Elmers (ham mentors). There will always be someone who
knows more--as well as less--than yourself.
