Hi

You can try tightening the pot nut a 1/8 turn at a time until the side play
is removed. Or replace the pot with the precision metal shaft version Mouser
part number 652-3540S-1-104 about $14. Tightening the nut will mushroom the
plastic slightly removing the side play but be careful not to strip the
threads.

Just one question. Is anyone else out there experiencing a rather
objectionable sideplay on the main tuning pot shaft ? With the knob firmly
installed I'm getting in excess of 1mm of play in the shaft.
