[Elecraft] Front panel not aligning...

  It's not totally clear from you pics how the alignment is setting up. 
The hole in the front panel should be large enough for the flange near the 
top of the mic connector to go through.  From your pics it looks like the 
hole is hanging up on that flange, almost like the hole isn't large enough. 
Can you tell us whether the hole in the panel would indeed be large enough 
to accommodate the flange?
