[Elecraft] !Lightning Strikes!

Check with your insurer. Lightning damage coverage includes REPLACEMENT. There are people who build K2's for a reasonable charge, and who can give you an estimate and invoice so you can deal with your insurance company. The alignment and building are tangible worth. Be sure to have shipping, taxes included.

An analog to this is the replacement of tower/antennas taken down by icestorm or tornado. The insurance will pay to have someone HIRED to put it all back up. That's a big business line for KC1XX and company who do it all the time as a serious supplement to their commercial tower business.
