[Elecraft] ELECRAFT NET: Would the Elecraft Net be seen as "contesting" If it was on 17m?

The contests they are concerned with are the ones that completely dominate a band while they are running, as in sweepstakes, CQWWDX, etc, etc. The idea at minimum is to make sure that spectrum is free for other purposes during a contest. As significant, the WARC bands are not as well suited to contests in general. Narrow, power restrictions, frequency sharing world-wide, etc.

Exchanging K2 numbers won't get on their radar.
