Possible intermittant on the RF cable between the two (the one that 
plugs into the K2 RF board near the right rear.  With the two connected 
but not integrated, wiggle that cable while listening on RX.

Pinching of the RF cable by the metal shield on the PA (that happened to 
me).  Pull the right side panel and take a look.

Mechanical interference between the KPA100 and the K2 (pull both side 
panels and look through from one side to the other).
