[Elecraft] K2 LCD/Power pole questions

Hi,

This is my first post to the list. Construction is
going smoothly thanks to the awesome work of the
design team! My immediate question is to verify that a
protective film is no longer used on the back of the
LCD display.  I don't see one but I want to make sure
before I solder it on.  My next question is to ask if
anyone has modified their K2 cabinet to use Power
Poles.  It appears that the 100 watt module uses them.
 I want to keep mine as a QRP rig. Everything else in
the shack and car has been converted to PPs.  It is
probably easer to make a conversion cable but 
I would like to hear from somebody who has done what
I'm considering doing.  Wish me luck as I enter into
the scary world of the RF board!
