Whoa, let's get our facts straight. I DID NOT bring this thread from QRP-
L. I unsubscribed from QRP-L several days ago. I received the 
announcement of the OPERATING ACTIVITY on the DX-NEWS reflector, and 
thought I would pass it on, as it sounded like a fun thing. There is no 
"side to the story." I merely posted the announcement. Get off your high 
horse!

No, that is not "strickly(sic)" a matter of opinion. There is NO place in 
Part 97 that forbids contesting on the WARC bands.
