I like 400Hz.  Setting the filters so that they are centered at this
lower-pitched tone makes copying weak CW signals easier because any
high-pitched hiss or noise is less disturbing.  It also eliminates the
"ringing" that some hear when using narrow CW filters and higher-pitched
offsets.

However, it appears (to me) that the audio circuitry in the K2 has more
ooomph at a higher pitch.  Therefore you might prefer 500Hz or 600Hz for
the CW offset/pitch (therefore not require having the AF gain turned up
high as I need with 400Hz offset).
