[Elecraft] REV B Upgrades When?

Definitely, build the rig stock as you have it.
Get it working correctly so you are comfortable
with its performance.  Only then should you
consider doing any mods.  It's important to
start the mod process from a known point of
departure.

Hi All:  My 14 yr old daughter and I have been chipping away at a K2
(S/N <3000) for about 6 months.  We're 2/3 of the way through the RF
board, having completed the control and front panel boards.  Would you
suggest we complete the kit and then backfill with all the Rev B
updates?  Or would there be something to be gained by trying to do those
updates as we go along?
