[Elecraft] Power Pole Query

Thanks to everyone for their suggestions for transitioning to the
PowerPole connectors. As evidenced with the KPA-100, these things are
about to become even more prominent in the typical Elecrafter's shack.
I'm sure you will see more evidence of this later. I ordered a nice
supply of the 15-amp connectors from PowerWerx which should help in my
shack.

One thing no one mentioned that I picked up from the expander cables
that several vendors have available is the possibility of connecting
several wires into a single PowerPole. I am now contemplating wiring up
two or three cables with barrel plugs on one end, and a single
PowerPole pair at the other. This would be most useful for equipment
that is tied together for some operation such as a 2-meter radio and a
TNC for packet use. In this case, if a fuse blows on that circuit, it
doesn't matter that much if both (or all three) pieces of equipment are
taken out.
