Hi

The TenTec 705 will work fine with the K2 although it needs 7-9 volts for
power. You can use the internal 9 volt battery or pick off the 8 volt supply
from the RF board and feed it to the mike programming connector. It may work
with the 5 volts supplied from the K2. You will have to try it. You will
also need to supply an eight pin mike connector as the TenTec comes with a
four pin connector. The 705 is a simple kit to build and looks good.
