Currently, the design offers no feature for bypassing. The software has not
yet been optimized for "deep sleep" between samples, so it may be that the
current drain will be reduced. On the other hand, it may also be that
making a change like this will "pulse" the current drain and cause noise.
We'll have to wait and see.

The entire module is in the signal path before the volume control. Its
output stage, which drives the K2, is from a low-impedance "headphone
driver" amplifier, so a signal could be tapped from there. Keep in mind
that it is a differential signal and there is no
differential-to-single-ended conversion that takes place in physical
circuitry. Please see the schematics posted on the website.
