At the moment I think you would have to use a laptop to provide all of those functions. An old Toshiba Libretto is small (about A5 size) and cheap (around USD200 on eBay) and should be able to handle PSK31 Deluxe. You would need the PCMCIA audio card which is available in the states for just a few USD

There is a K2 Logging program for the Palm (www.qsl.net/k0pc), but you won't be able to handle digital modes with any of the current Palms.

I'm writing control and logging software for the Psion PDAs, and have started coding for a Clie SL10 (Palm OS 4.1).

It's just possible that the Sharp Zaurus PDA could be used for digital modes. As far as I am aware, no-one has done it yet. Not sure if the limiting factor is the lack of a proper 'sound card' as you would have in a PC.

I know George N2APB of the NJQRP was working on a standalone PSK31 unit but haven't heard anything about that project for quite a while.
