Mike,

I completely agree with everything you've said in your email.
However the birdie is above the noise level.
Also, having  spent the last 30 minutes checking just outside
the band limits on all bands, I find a S9+20 (registered on
the K2 LED) birdie at approx 14.360 Mhz. (Antenna
disconnected!). 2x that fqy gives me 28.720 - close enough.
Now to run down why I have that particular birdie sooo
strong!! Or where it's coming from  :-)
