Hi Guys

Just a few thoughts on getting the right components in the right place.
This may be totally OTT but I check every resistor with a multimeter before
I install it. This is essential for me since I have a colour vision defect
which makes greens browns and reds look very similar. (Don't want to worry
anyone but I'm a heavy power elec eng by profession!)
My multimeter will also check caps above 500pf so I check them also.
A few simple checks with the multimeter and circuit diagram after soldering
also gives me some pace of mind!
BTW my multimeter is an old moving coil unit which puts about 3V on the
test leads in ohms ranges. I presume that 3V will not damage anything?
