[Elecraft] tnx for advice plus battery query

Many thanks to those who responded to my "flagpole" mail. I am still planning 
to get a vertical on my lot, but maybe not a small flagpole.Ive got some 
better verticals to save up for. My portable antenna and the antennas at the 
college shack will do for now.

Now for my next question. Ive mainly been using and 8 AA pack of NIMHs (plan 
to use them with the internal battery).It's good, but i want something longer 
lasting, for home or extended use. I want to get maybe a gel cell or other 
sealed lead acid battery. 12V and 7AH is the recommended. What are some good, 
reliable manufacturers of this type of battery? I also might want a case for 
the battery, for portability. Has anybody had any luck with Power Port's 
Battery-In-A-Bag? Aventrade and batteriesamerica.com have a 
Yuasa/charger/case deal. Only one dealer is selling it for way more than the 
other. Has anybody ever done business with these dealers? Any other advice 
for a sla newbie?
