[Elecraft] Windows version

To the Elecraft Windows gang:

I am an inverterate Mac user.  I have just gotten a new Mac, a Powerbook 
G4, and am installing Virtual PC so I can run some of the good PC stuff. 
My question for you Windows sorts out there is what is the best version of 
Windows to install these days for running the likes of Spectrograph and 
Digipan?  My prior experience is with Windows 98, but I suspect there are 
better versions available.  If I use a more modern version, will I be 
locking myself out of being able to use any of the particularly neat PC 
applications?
